Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Acceptance

By using RaveTools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. RaveTools is a free collection of web tools provided by Rave.

The service is free and "as-is"

All tools are provided free of charge, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose. Results from calculators, randomizers, and aggregators are informational only - verify anything important yourself before relying on it.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service: no automated scraping of our endpoints, no attempts to overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the infrastructure, and no use for illegal purposes. We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic.

Your files and your rights

Most tools work on files you provide. Use them only on files you own or have permission to modify. Do not use them to infringe anyone's copyright, or to present content as something it is not - including its origin, authorship, or authenticity. Files handled by the in-browser tools are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us, so we cannot access, review, or moderate them. Responsibility for what you process and how you use the result is entirely yours.

Third-party data and links

Some tools display data fetched from external sources (e.g. public deal sources, IGDB and Open Library for media). We do not own or control that data and are not responsible for its accuracy or for the content of external sites you click through to. External links open at your own discretion.

Intellectual property

The RaveTools name, the site design, its original written content, and the source code behind the tools belong to us. Running a tool serves that code to your browser so the page can work - that is a licence to use the site, not permission to copy, redistribute, or resell the code or to republish the site's content as your own. Whatever you produce with the tools is yours; we claim nothing in it.

No warranty and limitation of liability

RaveTools is provided without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rave is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the tools or reliance on their output.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the project evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
