3D Packing remastered

The 3D Packing Calculator got a full remaster. You can now drag and rotate items inside the box to arrange them your way, see how much of the box is empty (with the EU 50% empty-space limit marked), and get a list of every gap with exact dimensions, ready for fillers.

Also new: inches and pounds with one switch (the calculation always uses exact values and shared links keep their units), an X-ray view, wrap per item, pasting a whole item list from AI or Excel, and a much clearer 3D view with names printed on the boxes, readable from every side.

Random game picker: players, free to play and twice the library

The game picker has a new Players filter (singleplayer, multiplayer, co-op, couch co-op) and a Free to Play filter based on the current Steam store listing. Both narrow your genre pick, so co-op plus RPG gives co-op RPGs only. The library now holds nearly twice as many games, and the result card highlights the genres and mode you filtered on.

Resize by long or short edge

Image Compressor can now resize by the long or short edge, so a mixed batch of portrait and landscape photos comes out at the same size. Applying a custom width to other images also no longer squeezes portrait photos.

Screen & Monitor Test launched

Full-screen tests for dead and stuck pixels, backlight bleed, uniformity, banding, gamma, sharpness, ghosting, refresh rate and OLED burn-in, plus a stuck pixel fixer. A guided check walks through them in order and ends in an inspection report with marked defect coordinates, handy as proof for a return. Everything runs in your browser.

Search understands whole phrases

Tool search now matches every word you type instead of the whole phrase at once, so a pasted question like "how to fix a dead pixel on my OLED" finds the right tool. Filler words are ignored and the best matches come first.

Target file size hits the limit it promises

In the Image Compressor, target file size now lands as close to your limit as possible without ever going over it. Previously the search was capped by the quality slider, so asking for 400 kB could return 200 kB and give away half the quality for no reason.

Image Compressor workspace built

Image Compressor launched with local WASM codecs, before-and-after preview, batch processing and the first version of the shared workspace used as a foundation for future file tools.
